    Ester Cyclone Puts 10 Areas Under Signal No.1

    The typhoon Ester has finally arrived in the Philippine area of responsibility. It has an international code name of Dianmu.  Ester is the fifth cyclone to enter the Philippines this 2010. One life lost because of the typhoon Ester. Fifteen more passengers were reported missing and almost 200 families from Bulacan were evacuated as precautionary measures against flooding.  The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) put ten areas under Public Storm Signal number 1. These are the Cagayan, Apayao, Kalinga, Abra, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Northern Isabela, Batanes, Babuyan Island and Calayan Island.  Typhoon Ester did not affect the country that much compared to the previous Typhoons that comes in the Philippine area of responsicility. there were less casualties and less damages.  There were lots of delayed domestic and international Flights because of the heavy rains that the typhoon Ester brought. Finally it leaves our country. It exits toward Japan.
