Last December 15, 2011, Typhoon Sendong or the International name Typhoon Washi hit the Philippines specifically the Mindanao area. The Typhoon Sendong continued to intensify as it moves to its new target Palawan. It is said that the typhoon Sendong hopefully the last weather disturbance in the country 2011 crossed the Mindanao. In the latest weather bulletin from the Philippines Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration or PAGASA, it was the last tracked at 180 kilometers West of Dumaguete City with the maximum winds of 75 kilometers per hour, The typhoon Sendong is moving West NorthWest at 30 kph. It is stated that the signal number 2 is hosted over Palawan, Southern Negros and Zamboanga Del Norte while the signal number 1 is raised over Southern Cebu, Siquijor and Northern Negros, Zamboanga Del Sur, Misamis Occidental and Cuyo Island.

Typhoon Sendong hit a portion of the Philippines that does not see tropical storms and typhoon very often. The Mindanao is thus hit only about once every twelve years by a significant tropical storms or typhoon.

There is a rumors that the legal logging is the cause of the flash flood in the Philippines. President Benigno Aquino ordered an investigation into a flash floods and landslides that sent a mud and logs crashing down on the residents killing about 1,000 people on a Southern Island. The typhoon Sendong left 957 death and 49 missing people on Mindanao according to the National disaster agency. Most of the casualties were in the cities of Cagayan de Oro and Illigan and tens of thousands remain homeless. The disaster agency said that it is more than 338,000 people in 13 provinces were affected by the disaster with nearly 43,000 still in schools, churches and gymnasium more than 10 thousands houses were damaged by the typhoon and the flashflood of which is nearly a third were ruined. Most of the schools, roads and bridges also badly damaged. There are more than 15 million pesos or $340,000 worth of crops, it is mostly rice and corn were damaged. Although the Agriculture Department said that losses were minimal as the crops were in the early planting stage.

All the foundations like ABS-CBN Foundation, GMA Foundation etc. help the people who suffer in Mindanao and in places that are affected by typhoon Sendong. Most of the dead are women and children. The mass graves are being dug for casualties, survivors continue to ask for the help. It is urgently needed in evacuation centers including the body bags, food, water, medicine, blankets, kerosene, lamps or even money will do.

Some people are saying that the Philippine Government should blame, it is the government’s fault. People should know that no one wants this kind of tragedy, calamity or disaster. The Philippine Government do their best to prevent the country by this kind of calamity. There is no one who can stop this calamity. What should people do now is to help other people who are now suffering, because of typhoon Sendong. This kind of calamity that happened in Cagayan de Oro will surely repeated in the future. Therefore people should always be ready in any kind of calamity that will happen in the Philippines.

There is a three ways to simplify call center scheduling, it includes focusing on a more accurate forecast that involves agents in the process and automating repetitive tasks. Call center management can make their jobs and the operation of their centers a bit easier by closely focusing on the simple elements. The three ways are focus on an accurate forecast, involve your agents and automate repetitive tasks

In focus on an accurate forecast, it can avoid under-staffing, when call center management focuses on forecast accuracy while minimizing the crisis situation. people can avoid shuffling agents around to fit the changing needs. This is also to get the best possible forecast baseline for the schedule, future call volume drivers and identity historic. This includes the events, special days, promotions and many more. To prepare for a potential situations, run a different scenarios and include all customer service related activities in to the forecast.

In Automate repetitive tasks, to spend more time coaching, monitoring and training this is free to automate a certain tasks. To compare forecasted with actual call volume, scheduled effectiveness and adherence to learn for sure what worked and what did not, a call center management can also automate reports and make it a routine. The inclusion of call history into all forecasting procedures, automate fore casting and scheduling scenarios with simulation and to create a dashboard with a daily performance goal to streamline intra-day monitoring and management. To ensure the proper operation of the call center does not have to be a complicated task is to drive an effective call center management.

To involve your agents, people can create an open and more enjoyable work environment while also driving more effective schedules that drives results. The individuals working the floor are often the best source of information for call center management. People can create an open and more enjoyable work environment with an open communication while also driving more effective schedules that drive results. All call center management should survey these individuals base in the preferences and personal needs to engage agents. Those who are willing to be flexible, it is also critical that incentives are provided.

There are lots of ways to find a best benefits especially in outsourcing. Outsourcing is a wide variety of the business that offer services to other business. The outsourcing is one of the major growth now. As the companies move to more comprehensive outsourcing relationships, they are able to benefit from the greater economies of the scale. Outsourcing provides a better future to everyone, when you talk about outsourcing it does not mean that you will be able to work in a call center company to answer the calls of the clients. In outsourcing there are lots of businesses that involves here such as e-mail, phone calls, research, and many more. This is something that is really great, it decrease cost, it helps in financing, development of the business, performance of the employee, find solutions etc.

For a number of very valid reasons, outsourcing has become a very popular alternative. By having processes such as manufacturing and assembly done in overseas locations, it is initially emerged as a way for companies to cut costs. The cost were much lower. Lower wages and operating costs both contributed to these reduced costs. The lower costs were appealing because they greatly improved the profit margins for the companies. Outsourcing is now gaining in a popularity for a variety of other reasons. Cost reduction is still a primary advantage, other elements such as access to industry experts, a larger workforce and more flexible options are being embraced as welcomed advantages offered by outsourcing.

The original purpose of outsourcing is the reducing costs and even though it since to be demonstrated to have other significant advantages, one of the prime advantages is the cost reduction it still remain. To complete in-house, companies look to outsource tasks which would be more costly. For instance, a software related task requiring specialized training. Companies who do not have an staff employee qualified to complete the task that can benefit financially by outsourcing a task.

To retain the services of an industry expert on a contractual basis, there may be significant fees required but the efficiency of this individual will enable him to complete the task much more quickly than it could have been done in-house. It would have had to complete the task and may have taken significantly longer costing the company more in the long run if the task were not outsources an in-house employee.

In on call, it also provides the potential for new opportunities for the company. The company is able to go after larger and more specialized types of work with an experts waiting in the wings assist. This is an important because in doing this, the company can find themselves enjoying greater prosperity.

The larger Workforce is still one of the advantage of outsourcing, this is the benefits of enjoying a larger workforce when necessary without the hassle of maintaining a larger staff. In additional employees on a contract basis during times of prosperity without worrying about having to lay them off or keep them utilized when the surge of work begins to wane through the outsourcing companies. Having a larger workforce is the ability to generate a larger profit. Why is it important? This is because smaller companies can find themselves in a position where they can complete with a larger companies for bigger jobs. This is by outsourcing a portion of the workload.

Flexibility is another considerable advantage to outsourcing work, even though the most well planned projects may suddenly end up behind schedule or under a time crunch due to minor errors, changes in plans or other incidental activities. Those smaller companies who do not have the resources to compensate for the inevitable mishaps. The companies can take advantage of outsourcing in times of trouble, this is to help them to deal with problems without alienating clients.

Over the last five years, the administration of President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo has seen its share of political instability. The oakwood Mutiny of July 2003 is the most significant of these. Most of the social movements manifesting unrest towards government policy, the oakwood Mutiny was originally perceived to have a long-term drastic effects int he economy. This is proven to be untrue for the local and offshore Information Technology industry in the country. The reliance of Philippine society prevailed in succeeding years.

The event being relegated to being a mere nuisance, analyst found renewed growth for the remainder of 2003, this is according to the XMG Inc. The recent pronouncement of state of emergency which has now been lifted and the ruckus at the Philippine marine headquarters carry “no fundamental negative effects to economic growth”, this is the Information Technology research firm believes.

XMG expects some offshore contracts to be suspended or canceled owing ” to insufficient understanding of the real meaning behind events of a social unrest in Philippine society. The sentiment will get better in less than a year so long as the country does not suffer further political unrest.

The service providers have continued to take on a “business as usual” attitude though they admitted that regular business meetings experienced disruptions due to political protests. It indicates that the state of emergency has a minimal impact on the country’s outsourcing market. The ICT Group listed by Nasdaq-listed, for instance revealed plans to develop its operations while etelecare Global Solutions announced it will recruit over 3,000 new agents in the Philippines.

The current situation in the Philippines heightens the need for companies to have a multiple global sourcing locations and to have multi-country, multi locations disaster recovery plans in place . The board of investments and the commission on Information and Communication Technology in the Business Process Association of the Philippines stated that the Philippine Outsourcing industry is expected to create 103,000 new jobs in 2006. There were 44 percent increase from 2005, this is in spite of the threat coming from other countries like India and China.

The outsourced industries int he Philippines are information technology, call center work, animation and software development. The outsourcing industry is expected to bring in $3.7 billion in revenues this year. All of these sectors are bullish about the prospects of growth, the Philippine animation industry is currently a $40 million business. The global animation outsourcing industry is valued at $72 billion. In 2005, the BOI also noted a significant increase of information technology-related projects that registered. In the outsourced call center with a projected 70 percent growth, the biggest growth is expected.

In the Philippines, the booming outsourcing industry is considered vital in keeping the country’s economy viable. Because of an ever growing demand from the United States, the local outsourcing industry is seen to remain growing. The most favored nation for outsourcing ventures, the Philippines remains on its stand. This is after India because of the Filipinos’ excellent knowledge of the English language as well as their familiarity with western culture owing to the country’s historical affinity.

Outsourcing is a one way in providing a good strategy in the businesses, this is the one that can provide a solution in anything. This is a big help in the industry.

The Philippines is one of the best outsourcing destination in Asia, this is the most cost-effective outsourcing destination, this is base to the leading real estate advisory firm CB Richard Ellis or CBRE Philippines stated in a recent interview. The CBRE compared 15 business districts across Asia sch as Tokyo, Hongkong, Singapore, Mumbai, Beijing, Seoul, Shanghai, Taipei, Ho Chi Minh, Hanoi, Kuala Lumpur, Guangzhou, Bangkok, Manila and Jakarta.

The Philippines ranked as the second cheapest with lease rates at US$19.1 psf/annum, next to Jakarta’s US$ 16.3. In 2011, this is despite increasing office lease rates in Metro Manila and declining vacancy rates. The Philippines has one of the highest office rental yields in Asia at 10 percent for the third quarter of 2011 ranking as second to India’s 11 percent.

In Metro Manila, the existing Business Process Outsourcing office supply has reached about 3.6 million square meters of leasable area with Makati as the biggest office space provider with a supply of almost 1 million square meters, then Quezon City about 784,308 square meters, followed by Taguig City of almost 499,464 square meters, then followed by Pasig City about 440,588 square meters, Mandaluyong City ranging 326,972 square meters, Pasay City about 259,494 square meters and Muntinlupa abut 209,823 square meters.

By the study of the Business Processing Association of the Philippines or BPAP, in the Business Process Outsourcing industry is expected to hit US$11 billion in revenues for 2011. The 20 percent increase from 2010′s revenue of US$8.9 billion. In 2010, the projected employees is 525,000 and in 2011 are 640,000.

The Philippines is one of the most-cost effective real estate markets in Asia, this is said by the CEO of CBRE Philippines Rick Santos. For example, it is significantly less expensive than HongKong and Singapore which is around 12 times more expensive. This is why the demand in office services sector in terms of Business Process Outsourcing and Knowledge Process Outsourcing growth has been growing in the country. In Manila, this year’s projected take up of office space, it is anywhere between 330,000 and 360,000 square meters of a new takeup, this is quite large when compared to Singapore’s 150,000 square meters a year. In the Philippines real estate market, they see continued expansionary demand from multinational companies as there is good value.

The outsourcing in the Philippines is very wide. People take advantage to work on outsourcing companies, this is the best nowadays. Some people did not know the word outsourcing, outsourcing is an arrangement in which one company provides services for another company that could also be. It is usually have been provided in-house, this is also a trend that is becoming more common in Information Technology. The Business Process Outsourcing is the best way to solve the problems and other things that needs to improve.

Outsourcing makes the industry stable, most of the countries outsource in different places wherein they outsource their products and present their products. It helps also to communicating to your love ones and this is also a one way to ask for some very important matter which things can be more faster and better.
