    Typhoon Helen hits the Philippines

    The Philippines has a typhoon and the name of the typhoon is Helen wherein Helen hits the Northern Luzon. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Service Authority said that “Typhoon signal 2 was raised in three areas in Northern Luzon as tropical storm “Helen” maintained its strength while slowly moving westward,”. The PAGASA announce the storm signals by the following places  “Public storm warning signal number 2 was raised over Cagayan, the Calayan Group of Islands, and Isabela, while signal number 1 has been raised in Batanes, Ilocos Norte, Abra, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, and Aurora. No other public storm warning signal has been raised elsewhere.”  then it added that “The storm’s center was located 270 kilometers east of Aparri, Cagayan, with maximum sustained winds of 65 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gustiness of up to 80 kph. The storm was moving “west slowly.” The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Service Authority (PAGASA)   that the typhoon Helen will in in 190 kilometer per hour in southeast Aparri and it could be 50 kilometer north or 260 kilometer west northwest of the town. This typhoon Helen is not that strong if you compare to the other typhoon that hits the Philippine country. But it also destroy some imporatant things in the country.
